SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen - Triathlon
Image: Triathlon Triathlon has a long tradition at SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen and other the years the club’s athletes have been responsible for some outstanding performances. A new concept has been developed which links competitive with recreational sports. And this concept is successful. SC Bayer 05 has registered 13 league teams this season. The women’s and men’s first teams are both registered in the 2. Bundesliga North. The “stars” of the triathlon department, Ute Mückel and Olaf Sabatschus, will be in the Bundesliga sides when they are not competing on an international level.
Image: Bayer Triathlon The SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen triathlon department is co-host of the largest individual sports event in the area, the Bayer AG backed “Bayer Triathlon”. Every year the event held at the Elfrather See excites both the numerous athletes and spectators. In 2007 the Bayer Triathlon celebrated its 20th anniversary.
