TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen Disabled Sports Department

Founded in 1950, the TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen Disabled Sports Department is sponsored generously by Bayer and has become one of the biggest and most successful disabled sports clubs in Germany. Successful participants at the Paralympics such as Petra Quade, Dirk Mimberg, Britta Jänicke, Jörg Frischmann and Britta Siegers stand for the outstanding international displays at the very highest level of disabled sports. And the youngsters are already waiting for their chance to extend Bayer’s successful run at the next Paralympics. But disabled sports at Bayer 04 Leverkusen doesn’t just mean competitive sport. It also means rehabilitation and recreational sports for more the 330 members. Disabled athletes can find training partners from different departments, highly qualified coaches, who train athletes form all different levels.
